Julie Frank, Principal

Dr. Frank brings more than 20 years of distinguished experience as a teacher, administrator, systems consultant, academic, and school leader across K-12 and higher education settings. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from Ferris State University, and a Bachelor's in Biology from Wayne State University. Her career is marked by a deep commitment to equity, instructional excellence, and student-centered innovation. 

Outside of school, she enjoys camping, fishing, and hiking the beautiful mountains of WNC. Julie is married to Brian and have an adult son and a very large dog named Luna.

Dr. Frank's commitment to student achievement and leadership development are why we are proud to call her our Principal at Lucy S. Herring!
