Chess
The chess club meets Tuesday afternoons from 2:30-3:30 at the school, beginning in September
until Winter break. The Winter semester runs from the second week of January thru the end of April. The instructor is Bruce Roth, who has been teaching chess to children for 26 years, and has
taught over 2000 students how to play chess.
● Cost: $50 for Fall semester, or $100 for the entire year.
● Level--The class is for all ability levels, you are not required to know how to play chess to join the class.
● Format--students have a lesson for ½ of the class, and play chess for the other ½ of the class.
