The Herring News Crew

The Herring News Crew is a student-led school news program where 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders take on the roles of reporters, editors, and producers. Meeting every morning at 7:30 AM, these students collaborate to write, perform, edit, and produce their own news show, which airs every Friday.

The program is sponsored by Digital Lead Teacher Suzanne Hinesley and offers students a hands-on experience in journalism and media production. Interested students can apply each fall by completing an application.
